Senior GL Specialist

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee general ledger accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring timely submission and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Utilize Korean or Japanese language skills to communicate with stakeholders and resolve queries effectively.

Perform account reconciliations and identify discrepancies for resolution.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities with precision and attention to detail.

Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting and finance department.

The Successful Applicant

Proficiency in Korean or Japanese, both written and spoken

Korean : TOPIK Level 4 and above

Japanese : JLPT N2 and above

Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

Minimum 2 years of GL / R2R experience is preferred; candidates with 1 year of experience is welcomed to apply

Strong understanding of general ledger processes and accounting principles.

Experience working with financial systems and software tools.

Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Ability to work collaboratively in a professional services environment.
