Shark Ninja is expanding our APAC business and scaling it rapidly. Our two brands, Shark and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by a strong innovation pipeline. With Malaysia playing a critical role in our bold APAC growth plan, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Develop assigned offline retail channels and accounts in Singapore.
- Conduct Business QBRs with key accounts to review and grow business.
- Make regular store visits to build engagement and mindshare with retail salespersons.
- Engage with various functions at retailers – Operations, Finance, Marketing & SOH teams – to maintain smooth business relationships.
- Serve as the single point of contact for all business-related requirements to key accounts.
- Drive and monitor purchase orders, AR collection, channel inventory, sell‑out and product mix.
- Provide consistent updates on market insight, competitor activity and pricing.
- Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly targets, exceeding objectives.
- Adhere to internal cadence : weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business management timings.
- Plan business, national promotional calendars, demand planning and collaborate with the Marketing team to optimize channel marketing spending and execute to meet business objectives.
- Lead product launches, phase‑in / out, and range selection.
- Analyze sales trends and collaborate with regional sales / product teams to improve productivity.
Qualifications
5–8 years in sales, key account management, or e‑commerce within consumer goods, appliances, or lifestyle tech.Strong understanding of P&L, margin structures, pricing, and trade spend ROI.Proven track record managing Lazada, Shopee, or Amazon accounts; skilled in conversion, traffic, and CRM optimization.Proficient in Excel and data analytics; able to translate performance data into actionable insights.Confidence in negotiating commercial terms and handling high‑level discussions.Hands‑on approach; ability to drive execution from strategy to shelf or listing page.Effective communicator who can work cross‑functionally across marketing, supply chain, and finance.Thrives in a high‑growth, fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.Strong presentation skills, fluent in English (Mandarin or Bahasa a plus).Previous experience in Consumer Electronics or Small Domestic Appliances is a plus.Lead us to be “RARELY SATISFIED.”Make things better each day; “PROGRESS OVER PERFECTION.”Use your knowledge of our consumer, understand that “DETAILS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE.”Deliver something great; “WINNING IS A TEAM SPORT.”Be clear and honest, “COMMUNICATING FOR IMPACT.”Seniority level
