Penerangan pekerjaanOversee and approve project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements for rig upgrades, repairs, and modifications. Plan and execute 5-year special periodic surveys for jack-up rigs, ensuring timely completion and minimal operational disruption. Ensure rig asset maintenance is carried out in accordance with the CMMS, and asset life cycles are managed effectively. Approve and monitor engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation for all project works. Provide leadership and guidance for the building, installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment across all Velesto facilities and assets. Review and approve risk assessments, method statements, and technical procedures for project works. Resolve high-level technical challenges and provide subject matter expertise for project and maintenance teams. Develop and manage the Project Unit’s annual budget, ensuring cost control and optimal use of resources. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring contingency measures are in place to handle potential delays or operational challenges. Approve procurement of project-related materials, equipment, and services in line with company policies. Act as the key liaison between the Project Unit, SVP Drilling Business Division, and other senior stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, classification societies, vendors, and contractors. Provide timely and accurate reports on project progress, risks, and performance to senior management. Lead, coach, and develop project engineers, senior engineers, and support staff to ensure high performance and succession planning. Foster a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the Project Unit. Educational Background : Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or Petroleum Engineering, or related field. Professional Qualifications : Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration is an advantage. Strong knowledge of jack-up rig and HWU operations, asset management, and maintenance systems. Minimum 15 years’ experience in offshore drilling operations maintenance, and project management, with at least 7 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in managing large-scale rig refurbishment, upgrade, and repair projects in the Oil & Gas industry.

About the Role
The Head, Project is responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and oversight for all rig-related projects across Velesto’s fleet, ensuring that all projects including major repairs, upgrades, and special periodic surveys are executed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
This role leads the planning, execution, and completion of rig asset maintenance in accordance with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), while overseeing the building, installation, servicing, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment, components, and tools for all Velesto Energy facilities and assets. The Head, Project is also accountable for the successful delivery of the 5-year special periodic surveys for jack-up rigs and other major asset integrity or enhancement projects.

- Lead the Project Unit in planning, managing, and delivering all rig asset projects within scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Develop and implement long-term asset integrity and project strategies in line with Velesto’s operational and business objectives.
- Ensure all projects are aligned with operational readiness, rig safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
