Role Purpose
Responsible for creating and implementing strategic plans to achieve the organization's sales goals. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying potential customers, and developing effective sales strategies. The role also involves setting and monitoring sales targets, tracking performance, providing regular reports to Senior Management, and managing special projects.
Key Accountability
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve annual revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and historical data to formulate effective sales strategies and initiatives.
- Set, monitor, and evaluate sales targets across regions and segments to ensure alignment with the overall commercial strategy.
- Track performance KPIs and provide actionable insights and regular reports to Senior Management.
- Identify and assess new business opportunities and underperforming markets.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to understand market dynamics and local challenges
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects such as new route launches, market turnarounds, and digital transformation of sales processes.
- Act as PMO for SWAT team missions, recovery plans, or ad-hoc commercial initiatives requiring agile execution.
- Consolidate data and prepare impactful presentations, dashboards, and business cases for the Head of Airlines Global Sales.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Working Experience
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Aviation Management, Statistics, or a related field.A Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in sales planning, business development, commercial strategy, business analysis, or related fields within the aviation industry.Areas of Experience
Proven experience in performance monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, and project execution.Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or similar BI tools is a plus.Personality Traits
