T&T Manager - Legal Counsel for A&A and T&L - MY

We seek a technically solid Legal Manager who can work independently while functioning well with a team, who is serious about building a career in-house with a top-tier organization.

In this role, you will cover the SEA region while being based in your local country of residence and report directly to the head of the legal team in Singapore. You will play an important part in dealing with contractual and legal risk across the Audit & Assurance and Tax & Legal business units in SEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support negotiations in a broad range of commercial contracts with internal and external clients and suppliers, such as regional and global engagement arrangements, confidentiality agreements, referrals, teaming and sub-contracting arrangements, and tenders.
• Support the legal and risk teams in advising on, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating on vanilla, novel and complex commercial matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in the creation, implementation and maintenance of legal policies, guidelines and templates.
• Remain updated on legal developments that affect or potentially affect Deloitte's businesses and continue to develop best practices tailored to Deloitte's business needs.
