Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Retrospective).
- Perform Java application development, aligning to best practices for efficient system performance.
- Perform Rewards Systems (RRE, MIREV) and Credit Card Management Systems API (CCMS API, C400 API) development using Java or other OOP programming language defined by the application.
- Influences technical decisions / design which involve technology that falls within area of specialization.
- Write technical specifications of a project, provide detailed design and input of the design.
- User Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment setup / configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications.
- Ensure business needs are met whilst delivering within budget and with quality.
- Continuously look for service improvement areas / plans.
- Engage stakeholders on a regular basis on the progress of the projects and initiatives.
- Confluence and ADO updates.
- Perform project deployment activities and post-implementation monitoring.
- Support production issue investigation and resolution whenever needed.
- Comply with Agile System Development Framework (SDF), Quality Management Framework (QMF) or Disciplined Agile Delivery, and Risk Mitigation framework, including ensuring process, security, regulatory, and audit requirements are met.
- Achieve Common and other objectives across Global Technology.
- Assist production support team to resume all Sev 1 / 2 / 3 tickets within SLA. Ensure all change requests are submitted with full details and on time for ECRB / CB CAB approval (or other equivalent approval).

Our Ideal Candidates Should Have
Must have at least 9 years of experience in Java, CRNK API, and OOP.Good knowledge of Spring Boot 3.Knowledge of AWS containerization and experience with Podman / Docker engine.Good knowledge of DevOps; experience with Azure DevOps is an added advantage.Experience in Java application architecture & design.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in Agile project delivery and proficiency with DEVOPS tools such as ADO pipelines.Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks / projects.Self-initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.Passionate about exploring new technologies and keeping up with technology changes.Team player and able to work with all levels.Qualifications
