FINANCE EXECUTIVE

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO?

Handle daily accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) , Accounts Receivable (AR) , Fixed Assets (FA) and General Ledger (GL)

Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports for internal and external stakeholders

Assist in budgeting , forecasting and variance analysis to support business planning

Ensure timely and accurate tax submissions , including SST and corporate tax, in liaison with tax consultants

Coordinate with Company Secretary to ensure statutory compliance and timely filings

Manage treasury functions , including cash flow management, banking transactions and communication with bankers

Reconcile bank statements, intercompany balances, and resolve discrepancies

Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies and regulatory requirements

Support the preparation for external audits and respond to auditor queries

Undertake ad hoc financial projects as assigned by the Management

ARE YOU THE ONE?

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate strong technical knowledge, initiative and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Among some of the general requirements for this role are as follows :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. Experience in external audit and / or commercial accounting is preferred. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Experience in the automotive, retail, or dealership sector is an added advantage

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Oracle NetSuite ERP) is a plus.

Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Meticulous, independent and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
