As a Manufacturing Integrator (MI) Manager, you will lead a team of integrators and drive cross‑functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing delivery plans. You will be responsible for aligning strategic objectives with shop floor operations, optimizing production flow, and resolving systemic issues to support on‑time delivery and factory readiness. This role requires strong leadership, operational insight, and the ability to integrate systems, processes, and teams to achieve manufacturing excellence and scalability.
What you’ll do
Lead, mentor and develop a team of Manufacturing Integrators (MI). Set clear goals, monitor performance and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Provide guidance on production prioritization, material allocation, delivery scheduling and build sequencing to ensure smooth and timely execution of manufacturing plans.
Ensure cross‑functional team (CFT) alignment between manufacturing, order fulfilment management (OFM), engineering and quality assurance, particularly in managing material readiness, temporary build unit and part usage decisions during purges, shortages and quality‑related issues.
Support urgent escalations and ship‑short decisions in partnership with Product Control.
Collaborate with the Master Scheduler and CFT to validate product sequencing and mitigate downtime impacts (e.g., holidays, maintenance, IT upgrades).
Lead initiatives to enhance factory readiness, new product ramp and volume production scalability.
Develop and implement integration strategies to eliminate waste, improve cycle time and optimise throughput.
Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective actions for systemic manufacturing issues, including delays in material deliveries, process inefficiencies and production bottlenecks.
Monitor build plan execution, output performance, and cycle time improvements. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on key metrics, risks and mitigation strategies.
Provide notifications to the OFM team regarding any schedule deviations, including contributing factors and updated project timelines, to maintain alignment and transparency.
Who we’re looking for
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing or production, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, integration processes, SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) and factory operations.
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
