Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Innovations Specialist to work alongside the Brand Lead to drive exploration and development of new product opportunities. This role requires a balance of NPD, brand management and commercial discipline — from identifying opportunities, building strong business cases, sourcing and developing products, to crafting go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate has proven experience in brand management and new product development (NPD) and thrives in a collaborative local environment.
Responsibilities
- Opportunity & Trend Exploration
Monitor consumer trends, category dynamics, and competitive landscape in beauty, personal care, and natural care to spot emerging opportunities and unmet consumer needs.
Strategic Business Case DevelopmentTranslate opportunities into robust business cases with clear rationale, consumer insights and market need-gaps.
Perform category sizing and size-of-prize projections to prioritize initiatives.New Product Development (NPD) & SourcingChampion product development from concept to launch, ensuring quality, compliance, and brand alignment.
Partner with Procurement to identify, evaluate, and manage partners and suppliers to bring products to life, including negotiating costings, lead times, and supply agreements to deliver both efficiency and innovation.Develop go-to-market strategies for product launches.Collaborate with creative and digital teams to design packaging, POS materials, and campaign assets.Build sales enablement tools including training kits, launch playbooks, and customer pitch decks.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field.5–8 years’ experience in marketing, brand management, or innovation roles (FMCG, beauty, or personal care preferred).Demonstrated success in NPD, brand innovation, or portfolio expansion.Strategic, analytical, and project management skills.Innovation Mindset : Passion for spotting trends and shaping new opportunities.Strategic & Analytical : Strong business case builder with commercial acumen.Collaborative : Skilled in cross-functional teamwork and partner management.Executional Rigor : Able to manage projects from idea through launch.Brand Builder : Understands how to translate consumer insights into brand growth.Seniority & Employment
