Account Executive

Responsibilities

Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and monthly financial reporting. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and statements of accounts. Maintain proper documentation, record keeping, and filing systems to support all accounting entries and compliance requirements. Assist in monthly closing activities, including journal entries, adjustments, and preparation of relevant financial reports. Support external audit and tax filing processes, including preparation of audit schedules such as deposit listings, down payment schedules, and other relevant documents. Perform general accounting tasks, including updating cash book entries and preparing monthly bank reconciliations. Prepare and analyze various financial and management reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Budget Analysis, Cost Recovery Reports, Billing & Collection Summaries, and Cash Flow Status. Monitor and oversee daily financial operations, including invoicing, inventory movement, cash float management, and other finance-related transactions. Perform ad-hoc duties or assignments as required by the Finance Department. Qualifications

Language required : Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage. 3-5 years of proven experience in accounting or related financial roles. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in handling full set of accounts. Proficiency in accounting software. Familiarity with financial reporting standards, audit processes, and taxation matters. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines. Benefits
