JOB PURPOSE
As a Helper for Marine Outboard Repair, main responsibility is to provide support and assistance to technicians and mechanics involved in the repair and maintenance of marine engines. You will work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and assist in delivering efficient and effective services to customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job based in Dubai
Mercury engine certifications / background only.
Support technicians and mechanics in various tasks related to marine engines repair. This includes assisting with disassembling and assembling components, handing tools and equipment, and providing general assistance as needed.
Help in organizing and maintaining an inventory of parts, tools, and equipment. Keep track of supplies, restock items when necessary, and ensure a clean and organized work area.
Assist in cleaning and preparing engine parts, tools, and work surfaces. This may involve removing grease and stain, washing components, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Aid in setting up equipment and tools required for repairs. Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
Provide general support to the repair team as needed, which may include fetching tools, running errands within the workshop, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Take advantage of opportunities to learn from technicians and mechanics, acquiring knowledge about marine engines and repair techniques. Seek to improve your skills and understanding of the repair process.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times. Follow instructions from technicians and mechanics regarding the proper handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
School diploma
Interest in marine electrics and engines.
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks in a marine repair environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good organizational skills to assist with parts and tools management.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with the repair team.
Familiarity with basic hand tools
