BO Chargeman

Responsibilities :

• Electrical : Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment up to 11kV. Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations and safety standards.
• Facility Maintenance Planning : Develop and implement  a comprehensive maintenance plan for all facilities, including preventive maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs.
• Team Management : Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, engineers and contractors, ensuring effective allocation of resources, performance management, and training to meet maintenance goals.
• Facilities Inspection : Regularly conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance with regulations.  Take appropriate actions to address any issues found.
• Equipment Maintenance : Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment and systems within the facilities such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems. Coordinate with external vendor and contractors as necessary.
• Budgeting & Cost Control : Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources, prioritization of projects, and adherence to financial guidelines.
• Safety and Compliance : Ensure all facilities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• Emergency Preparedness : Establish emergency response procedures and plans to address unforeseen events such as power outages, natural disaster, or equipment failure. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure quick resolution and minimal disruption.
• Sustainability Initiatives : Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainability improvements within the facilities.  Implement and promote sustainable practices and technologies.
• Vendor Management : Collaborate with external contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure time delivery of services, quality workmanship, and adherence to contractual agreements.
• Perform any other duties as may be required by management.
