Senior Mechanic

Job Descriptions :

1. Vehicle Diagnosis & Repair

• Perform in-depth troubleshooting and diagnostics using scan tools and manual methods.
• Repair or replace worn parts such as brake pads, wheel bearings, hydraulic systems, suspensions, and steering mechanisms.
• Overhaul engines, gearboxes, and transmission systems as required.

2. Workshop Leadership

Guide and supervise junior mechanics and apprentices during repair work.

Delegate tasks based on workload, urgency, and team capability.

Provide hands-on training to improve team technical competencies.

3. Recordkeeping & Reporting

Ensure all work orders, service reports, and part usage records are completed accurately.

Report major faults, repeated failures, or safety concerns

Qualifications and Requirements :

1. Education : Diploma or certification in Automotive or a related field.

2. Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanic

3. Skills :

Expertise in diagnosing and repairing

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

Good communication and reporting skills
