Country Manager – Sales (Malaysia)
About the Role
The Country Manager – Sales (Malaysia) will oversee ICT’s commercial operations, channel expansion, and revenue growth within Malaysia’s enterprise and distribution ecosystem. You will lead market strategy, manage vendor relationships, and drive ICT’s portfolio adoption across Malaysian channel partners and enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Malaysia’s country-level sales strategy.
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and market expansion targets.
- Lead territory planning, forecasting, and annual sales budgeting.
- Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, VARs, MSPs, and integrators.
- Recruit and onboard new channel partners aligned with ICT’s portfolio.
- Conduct business reviews, partner planning, and enablement programs.
- Maintain strong engagement with global vendors operating in Malaysia.
- Align product roadmaps, pricing structures, and promotional strategies.
- Manage product availability and vendor coordination.
- Engage enterprise clients in key sectors : BFSI, telecom, government, oil & gas, and corporate.
- Support high-value deals, technical consultations, and negotiation processes.
- Monitor Malaysian ICT trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor activity.
- Identify product gaps and recommend new vendor / product opportunities.
- Prepare weekly / monthly performance reports for APAC leadership.
- Track KPIs, revenue pipelines, risks, and partner performance metrics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or IT.8–12+ years of ICT sales or distribution experience in Malaysia.Strong relationships with Malaysian distributors and enterprise customers.Experience working with global technology vendors.Skills
