Job Overview
The India sales team is a vibrant sales organization covering accounts across verticals in the country. You will be a highly skilled, customer‑focused technical sales professional providing technical support and mentorship to customers while collaborating with the account manager to develop appropriate customer solution offerings.
What You’ll Do
- Provide in‑depth technical information and specific design / implementation mentorship to one customer in a dedicated manner.
- Demonstrate a sophisticated architectural perspective across the Cisco architecture portfolios, including software and services.
- Collaborate with the sales ecosystem on strategic and complex opportunities, coordinating additional resources (consulting specialists, demo labs, etc.) to recommend, develop, and propose appropriate customer solution and services offerings.
- Act in a consultative fashion and serve as a trusted technical advisor to the account team and customer, identifying Cisco solution opportunities aligned to the customer’s business goals.
Who You Are
Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent5-10 years of field pre‑sales experience as a systems engineer / solutions architect or equivalentCisco product experience; pre‑sales experience requiredKnowledge and strong operating experience in Compute hardware, HCI, Storage, backup, virtualizationIn‑depth knowledge on datacenter solutions like SDN, SDS, and compute hardwareKnowledge of relevant solution sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applicationsPro‑active self‑starter and innovatorNetworking and relationship building skillsConsistent track record to focus and achieve goalsExcellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skillsDesired Skills
