Proficiency in using accounting software (Master Accounting) or other software and Microsoft Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant professional qualification, such as a diploma (LCCI) or degree in Accounting or Finance, is preferred. Required languages : English, Malay and Mandarin. Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers. Gaoya Furniture Industries (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Account Executive / Senior Executive to join our team in Sungai Jawi, Penang. As an Account Executive / Senior Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of our company, ensuring accurate record-keeping and effective financial management.
What you\'ll be doing
- Responsible for processing and recording all financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments (full set accounting).
- Preparing and generating monthly financial reports and statements as required.
- Maintaining cash flows for budgeted financial plan.
- Assisting in bank facilities such as BA, LC, and Payment Against Document (Export Application).
- Responsible for processing bank transactions for payable invoices.
- Monitoring Bills of Material in system and preparing costing analysis.
- Reporting to management during monthly management meeting (required presentation skills).
- Liaising with account auditors, tax consultants, bank personnel and other professionals or regulatory authorities.
- Maintain and update fixed asset records, loan and hire purchase schedules.
