Overview
Role focusing on regional marketing and public relations support to adapt regional and global materials for local use, while helping shape positive public perceptions and protect brand reputation across traditional, digital, and social media.
Responsibilities
- Insights Gathering and Reporting : Provide stakeholders with insights into local marketing intelligence, activities, and news.
- Localisation : Execute global and regional campaigns in the local market and adapt campaigns to local culture and sensitivities. Assist with organisation of local sales and trade events as required.
- Marketing : Develop and deliver local marketing campaigns to drive commercial objectives; act as brand custodian to ensure materials are brand compliant; maintain local collateral stock levels.
- Loyalty : Identify, develop, and deliver local earn and burn opportunities; promote the Cathay membership programme and engage members; support member engagement initiatives as required.
- Public Relations : Build and maintain relationships with local media and influencers; identify opportunities to profile senior management (interviews, speaking engagements, social media) and draft talking points / content; organise and support local PR events.
- Social Media : Suggest local content with insights and language requirements; adapt global / regional content for local use in collaboration with regional team and agency.
- Corporate Social Responsibility : Coordinate logistics and local participation as required.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications : Tertiary education in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising.Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience : Minimum one year’s experience in marketing and / or public relations; fluent in English (spoken and written) and local language; good understanding of the local media landscape (mainstream and social).Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, ensuring speed to market while maintaining quality.Capable of working outside office hours for urgent corporate affairs matters; capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously; highly organized with attention to detail; strong passion for marketing.Strong interpersonal and communication skills; discreet with confidential material.Benefits
