Country Sales Manager — JD.COM, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Responsibilities
- 1. Category Planning and Brand Management : Develop import category strategies for assigned countries, introduce premium local brands, and execute refined operations to drive growth in JD's imported product business scale and market share.
- 2. Core Metric Achievement : Oversee end-to-end procurement and sales operations to ensure successful attainment of key performance indicators including GMV, profit margins, and inventory turnover.
- 3. Supplier Collaboration and Resource Acquisition : Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to define business cooperation plans. Develop tailored product sales strategies and marketing campaigns, securing supplier support for promotional resources and expense subsidies.
- 4. Supplier System Management : Identify and develop new suppliers within the local region, establish robust supplier evaluation mechanisms, implement routine supplier management and rotation processes, and maintain a stable, efficient supplier collaboration framework with strong cooperative relationships.
Requirements
1. Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree or higher, with 8+ years' experience in e-commerce procurement / sales / operations, supermarket procurement, FMCG, or import / export trade. Familiarity with imported product category business logic preferred.2. Language Proficiency : Fluent English; proficiency in local language (usable as working language). In-depth understanding of local market brand landscape, supply dynamics, and commercial regulations. Candidates with existing supply chain resources in the target country are preferred.3. Professional Competence : Sharp commercial acumen to identify market trends and opportunities. Strong data analysis capabilities to drive business optimisation through data-driven insights.
