Manager - Commercial & Contract

Managing the projects commercial and contractual matters.

Resolve any client-related or subcontractor-related contractual issues or dispute referred by the project team.

Preparation and submission of Interim progress claims to Clients and evaluation of Subcontractor’s Interim progress payments.

Manage contractual correspondence claims variations orders (VO) and extensions of time (EOT).

Evaluating and negotiating prices, terms and conditions with Suppliers and Subcontractors.

Preparation of Letter of Acceptance and Work Orders for subcontracts.

Finalization and settlement of Project Final Accounts with Clients and Subcontractors.

Provide contractual advice and risk assessments to project stakeholders and management.

Ensure cost and commercial control throughout the project including budgeting forecasting and cost reporting.

Liaise and work closely with Project team, Consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual obligation and timely project delivery.

Maintain accurate contract records and documentation in line with legal and company requirements.

Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by Superior or Management.

Requirements :

Possesses Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey / Construction Management or equivalent

Minimum 10 years working experience in contracts / quantity surveying.

Managerial experience in Commercial and Contract.

Knowledge and experience in water / wastewater / sewerage projects will be added advantage.

A strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.

Possess own transport and willing to travel.

Good command of written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin would be an added advantage.
