Responsibilities
- Issue policy adjustments, new business, member movements, renewals, policy contracts and endorsements within turnaround time (TAT).
- Compute premiums and process experience refunds.
- Ensure tax invoices / endorsements / schedules of benefits / e-medical cards are issued timely.
- Ensure the accuracy of records entries and proper e-documentation.
- Liaise with direct clients / agents on employee benefits related queries via all channels.
- Maintain department records and endorsements.
- Administer data to provide reports required to track department progress.
- Provide administration support and perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by Team Lead.
- Take accountability for business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate them.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies to understand risk and safeguard the company.
- Highlight any potential concerns / risks and proactively share best risk management practices.
- Other responsibilities as entailed.
Qualifications
Degree from recognised institution.Preferred at least 1-year relevant experience specialising in insurance administration / business processing (experience in processing group insurance policies will be an advantage).Good time management, good analytical skills, detail-oriented and pro-active.Task- and results-oriented, and a good team player.Mathematically inclined and with good communication skills.Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel as the job requires significant data sorting and manipulation.Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications.High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and has a good attitude toward teamwork.Takes initiative to improve the current state of things and is adaptable to embrace new changes.How you succeed
