JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Monitor contract compliance, ensuring that terms and conditions are adhered to by all parties involved.
- Coordinate and manage the procurement of materials, labor, and services, ensuring they meet project specifications and budget.
- Monitor project costs and track expenditures to prevent cost overruns.
- Attend site meetings and inspections to track project progress and verify the quantities of work completed.
- Identify potential risks related to cost, time, and materials, and provide strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Prepare and submit final accounts for completed projects, ensuring all financial matters are resolved in accordance with the contract.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying.Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably in design and build government projects.Strong understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and financial management.Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools (e.g., Glodon Cubicost, SQL).In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technologies.Strong organizational and time management skills.Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.PERKS AND BENEFITS
