Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the full set of accounts, month-end closing, and preparation of financial statements to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliation, and General Ledger functions to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Process vendor payments and maintain up-to-date records in the accounting system to ensure accurate AP aging.
- Manage annual statutory audits and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and submissions for Malaysian entities.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to support audit, tax, and regulatory matters.
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly financial and management reports to facilitate business decision-making.
Requirements :
Degree in Accountancy or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial principles and practices.Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related role. Candidates with less experience are also welcome to apply.Proactive and supportive team player, with a willingness to contribute ideas and drive process improvements.Able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team environment.High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial data and documentation.Good command of Malay, English, and Mandarin is preferred to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.Familiarity with accounting systems such as SQL.Job Types : Full-time, Permanent
