Senior Trading Operations Executive (MY)

Handle and approve payment instructions (Fiat and Digital Assets) raised by the trading desk; verify payment amounts and counterparty wallet information with accuracy and diligence. Manage the organization’s cryptocurrency accounts and wallets held with custodians. Oversee the end-to-end payment process, including releasing funds to counterparties, while ensuring strict adherence to internal controls and due diligence procedures. Provide high-quality client service support, escalating and directing inquiries to the appropriate departments when required. Support and manage various aspects of the firm’s business operations, including stakeholders relationship management. Conduct ongoing operational risk assessments and implement effective controls to mitigate risks. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and Finance. Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including streamlining workflows and driving automation to enhance operational efficiency. Provide informal guidance, and / or on the job training to new team members. 5-8 years of experience in a Middle Office, Client Services, or Cash Settlements role within financial services. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, or a related field; equivalent Banking industry experience will be considered. Strong organizational and planning skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely. Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in decision-making. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
