We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and supporting logistics operations to ensure cost efficiency, service quality, and compliance across global freight and distribution flows. This role will play a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making, supporting operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement in our logistics network.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse, and interpret logistics data (freight cost, transit time, inventory movement, on-time delivery, documentation accuracy, and damage-free rates) to evaluate inbound, outbound, and international freight performance.
- Prepare and maintain logistics scorecards, dashboards, and reports, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for management decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate carrier / forwarder performance against KPIs (e.g., OTD, OTIF, lead time, freight cost per unit, customs clearance time) and recommend corrective actions.
- Support freight procurement activities by benchmarking forwarders, analysing bids, validating billing accuracy, and optimizing cost per kg / CBM / TEU.
- Provide insights into freight trends, shipment mode utilization, and cost-to-serve models to support scenario modelling, distribution strategy, and inventory placement decisions.
- Collaborate with logistics partners (3PLs, forwarders, warehouse providers) to troubleshoot issues, improve dock turnaround, reduce dwell / storage costs, and enhance overall service.
- Ensure compliance with customs, bonded warehouse / LMW requirements, international trade regulations, and internal logistics policies.
- Support key logistics and supply chain projects with data analysis and reporting.
- Identify risks, compliance gaps, and inefficiencies, and recommend cost-saving or service-improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain analysis, project management, industrial engineering, or freight management (manufacturing / medical device industry experience is an advantage).Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, cost modeling); experience with Power BI / Tableau is a plus.Knowledge of international freight forwarding, INCOTERMS, customs clearance, and bonded warehouse operations.Experience working with ERP / WMS / TMS systems (Oracle, or equivalent).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.Problem-solving mindset with ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.Dexcom, Inc. provides continuous glucose monitoring technology to help patients and their clinicians better manage diabetes.
