Site Supervisor

Summary / Key Responsibilities :

• The supervisor is based at Bestari Solar ("Project") located in Bestari Jaya, Selangor ("On-Site"). The role is responsible for all project sites including up to the connection point of TNB for the BSSB interconnection facility (IF) facility.
• To act in delegation of the Project Engineer whenever the Project Engineer is not at site and to update the Project Manager / Project Engineer on all issues, concerns, risk, mitigation, incidents, delays, and important notices.
• Oversee daily construction activities on site, participate on weekly GOM&PM calls ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications and to update the Project Engineer, Project Manager and GOM&PM when required.

Overall planning, coordinate employee activities and implementation of the daily and weekly activities to meet established goals including :

Recognizing, addressing and resolving issues / problems among / between subordinates and relevant parties during construction.

Maintaining work standards and outlining behavioural expectations to ensure team morale and productivity.

Perform daily inspections activities to ensure compliance with specification by confirming that the work carried out in accordance with contract requirements and prudent practices.

Functions / Duties :

Construction and Commissioning Stage

Operation and Maintenance Stage

Assist the Project Engineer to perform all necessary planning, budgeting, cost control for the O&M exercise.

Maintenance Management Scope :

To ensure smooth plant operations with minimal environmental impact and optimum maintenance cost. Taking consideration that the ISO standards are compiled with.

Legal Regulatory Framework Scope :

To ensure plant's equipment and system processes fully comply with statutory regulations and legislation requirement such as annual certificate of fitness renewal, relevant license and permits form Energy Commission etc.

Risk Management Scope :

To assess and evaluate from time to time the risk management strategy as identified by the management and to mitigate the plant risk to an acceptable level.

Performance Management Scope :

To ensure alignment between planned Technician performance and the overall goals of the business so as to deliver improved results while eating a high performance culture.

Project Management Scope :

To identify in-house project needs for equipment, process and system improvements. To plan, coordinate and implement projects as according to projected timeline with proper drawings, and procedures in place. To ensure the successful executive of the project.

Other Ad-Hoc Assignment Scope :

To perform other additional tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
