What will I be doing?

The Room Service Waiter / ess is responsible for delivering food and beverages to guest rooms in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner. The role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and accurately as per the orders placed by guests.

Provide exceptional service, ensuring guest satisfaction by responding to requests in a friendly and professional manner.

Set up and clear trays, tables, or carts in guest rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

Maintain knowledge of the hotel’s menu and any specials or promotions.

Ensure all guest requests and orders are handled promptly and efficiently, including dealing with any complaints or special requests.

Handle cash and credit card transactions, following hotel policies and procedures.

Ensure that all room service orders are correctly prepared and presented in a timely manner.

Check that room service trays and carts are removed from the rooms in a timely fashion, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.

Assist in the setup and preparation of room service areas and delivery stations.

Comply with all hotel safety and hygiene policies, including the safe handling of food and beverages.

Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, representing the hotel’s brand and standards.

Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth coordination of orders.
