Storekeeper – Role
The Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Storekeeper. The candidate must ensure all policies, rules, internal controls and procedures related to the Purchasing, Receiving and Store Department are complied with. Responsibilities include receiving and storing duties, and ensuring non-food and beverage deliveries align with approved purchase orders. All deliveries without purchase orders must be investigated and largely rejected. Inspect and verify items at receiving, including quality checks and quantities. Ensure deliveries are received at the designated receiving area, and all invoices or packing slips are stamped with the appropriate receiving stamp. Update the electronic Purchase Order System and post invoices into the inventory and / or accounts payable systems. Communicate shortages or returns to the Director of Purchasing as required. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and perform any additional duties as assigned.
Candidates must have a firm knowledge of hotel operations and previous experience in purchasing / store. Must be able to speak Bahasa Malaysia as well as be fluent in English. Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
