Overview
Director, Brand Guidance, Insights — Malaysia. The role sits in Kantar’s Insights division within the Brand Guidance team. The Director will oversee a set of key account client relationships and lead a team of 4–6 members, at various levels. The Director owns account profitability, client engagement, retention and growth, and maintains the quality of outcomes for all projects. This is a client-facing role that includes business development activities and commercial targets to be achieved.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer relations with C‑Level interlocutors and participate in the development of commercial activity.
- Produce highly valuable and innovative proposals to address the strategic challenges of clients.
- Lead and develop the team to deliver high-quality work and empower team members to achieve impact.
- Oversee account profitability, client engagement, retention and growth, and ensure high-quality outcomes across projects.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in marketing research (agency or client side) and / or in brand measurement / brand health tracking / brand strategy, with strong writing, editing and oral communication skills.Degree in Marketing, Communications (MA), Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field.Minimum of 10 years of total work experience, preferably in marketing, market research and client insights.Strong analytical skills with ability to understand client needs and address strategic business questions with innovative responses.Organized, problem solver, self-directed, with leadership and initiative, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.Validated competence in areas such as project management, brand management, market understanding, people management or customer experience.Location & Diversity
