Role

This is a full-time, on-site role for an ICU Staff Nurse located in Petaling Jaya. The nurse will provide critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, administer medications, monitor vital signs, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support patients and their families. The nurse will manage emergency situations, perform medical procedures, and ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients in accordance with clinical standards. Monitor and document patient vital signs, hemodynamics, and clinical status. Administer medications and therapies as prescribed; ensure safe delivery and dosing accuracy. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans. Respond to emergencies and support resuscitation efforts as needed. Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and postoperative or critical care expectations.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse certification and relevant ICU experience. Possess skills in Nursing and Critical Care Nursing; experience in Emergency Nursing and Critical Care Medicine. Strong understanding of general medicine. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment and make quick decisions. Additional certifications in critical care or emergency nursing are beneficial.
