Job Description
Maintenance & Repairs
- Oversee routine maintenance, inspections and repairs of building systems; HVAC & WCPU (Water Cooled Packaged Unit), plumbing, electrical, elevators and etc.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and maintenance staff to address issues promptly.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations (e.g : fire safety, environmental laws) and emergency protocols.Conduct regular safety inspections and implement risk mitigation measures.Tenant & Stakeholder Relations
Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing complaints and ensuring satisfaction.Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to align operations with organizational goals.Financial & Budget Management
Prepare and monitor budgets for maintenance, repairs and operational expenses.Negotiate contracts with service providers to optimize costs.Staff Supervision
Hire, train and manage cleaning, security and maintenance personnel.Delegate tasks and oversee staff performance.Sustainability Initiatives
Implement energy-efficient practices (e.g : LED lighting, water conservation) and waste reduction programs.Monitor energy consumption and promote green building standards.Technology & Reporting
Use building management software (e.g : CMMS, EAM) to track work orders, schedules and asset performance.Generate reports on maintenance activities, budgets and compliance.Qualification and Job Requirements
Minimum high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or Facility Management is preferred.Certified Facility Manager (CFM) certification is an added advantage.At least 3 years of experience in property / facility management or related fields.Must possess a strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and building automation systems.Proven skills in leadership, problem-solving, communication and organization are required.
