Key Responsibilities
- Facilities Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee daily building operations, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are implemented and adhered to.
- Monitor and supervise outsourced vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure facilities comply with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
- Implement workplace safety programs and emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Space & Asset Management
- Plan and optimize space allocation and utilization.
- Maintain inventory of assets, equipment, and facilities-related documentation.
- Ensure effective security systems are in place to safeguard people and property.
- Budget & Cost Management
- Develop and manage the annual facilities budget.
- Track and control operational expenses, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Review vendor contracts and negotiate service agreements.
- Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead and supervise facility staff and support teams.
- Coordinate with academic, administrative, and external stakeholders on facility requirements.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.Professional certification (e.g., IFMA, NEBOSH, OSHA) is an advantage.Minimum 5–7 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in an educational institution or corporate environment.Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance processes, safety regulations, and vendor management.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in facilities management software and MS Office.Job Type : Full-time
