Overview
As a Channel Sales Enablement Program Manager, you’ll partner with leaders across our go‑to‑market organization to define and deliver sales enablement programs for Trimble’s indirect sales channel in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AECO) sector, with a primary focus on the APAC region. Your work will include developing training plans, creating content, leveraging direct sales materials for the channel, and measuring the effectiveness of enablement initiatives to ultimately grow sales.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with channel sales leaders to identify and create programs and content aligned to sales goals and seller competencies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive enablement (process and content) that is aligned to business objectives and designed for optimal learning.
- Develop scalable processes for global channel communications and training, leveraging existing content and programs where possible.
- Create and manage channel onboarding programs to enable seller success.
- Conduct needs analysis to define strategy and content.
- Design and develop training and assessment materials for multiple delivery formats, including instructor‑led classroom training, instructor‑led virtual training, e‑learning (videos, job aids), and role‑play scenarios.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to plan and develop training goals, objectives, and all course materials for training modules, assessments, tools, and events.
- Ensure all materials adhere to principles of instructional design and interactive usability per customer needs.
- Analyze key performance indicators and quantify program effectiveness.
- Implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training and development initiatives, making improvements as necessary.
- Collaborate with sales enablement colleagues to leverage existing content and align to key initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience designing and implementing training programs within a sales environment, with demonstrated knowledge of needs analysis and learning program creation.5+ years of experience in sales, sales enablement, or learning & development, preferably with a hardware or software company.Experience with all elements of the ADDIE model, from analysis and design through evaluation.Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Fluent in English (written and verbal).Experience independently interviewing stakeholders and subject matter experts at all organizational levels.Well‑organized, self‑directed team player willing to remain open to new ideas.Strong customer‑service orientation and commitment to ensuring timely, quality solutions to customer issues.Preferred Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or a related discipline.Experience using e‑learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline / Rise) to develop online learning modules.Experience administering learning management systems and / or sales enablement platforms; CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).About Our AECO Sales Enablement Division
