Clinical Instructor (School of Nursing)

Responsibilities

Perform clinical placement teaching at any hospital as assigned by School Perform clinical guidance at hospital for all clinical posting module based on the programme syllabus Monitor students’ attendance and performance Monitor students’ progress and guide them during their clinical postings Mark students’ reports, presentations, assignments and rate student’s performance in clinical postings Involve in preparation of teaching materials especially for clinical module Any other tasks as assigned by the University from time to time Requirements

Candidate must possess Diploma in Nursing or a bachelor’s degree. Valid practicing Annual Practice Certificate from the Malaysian Nursing Board. Possession of Post-Basic Certification is an added advantage. Necessary to have at least 5 years of experience in clinical areas. Community experience or post-basic specialty in Obstetrics Nursing and Paediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing or Gerontology and Medical Surgical Nursing is an added advantage. Possess own transport and able to travel to clinics.
