Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Technical Specialist based in Publika, Kuala Lumpur. The Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting technical issues, and offering customer service. Additional responsibilities include performing analytical tasks, guidance to juniors and ensuring effective communication both within the team and with clients.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in troubleshooting / managing firewall, routing & switching & wireless is preferred.Knowledge in A10 & Extreme Network is an added advantage.Must have the experiences for brand such as Aruba, Cisco , Palo Alto & FortiGate. At least 3 years experience with these brands.Possess experience supporting critical industry such as FSI.Strong learning capacity with a passion for learning.Have solid professional experience, especially hands-on ability, with the ability to independently solve server and system failures.To perform ticket handling and perform routine checks and maintenance to customer’s infrastructure.Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams and external clients.Skilled in multi-tasking, able to prioritizes tasks including the ability to be flexible and adapt to changes quickly.Willingness to work in a 24 / 7 operational environment.Must be able to relay technical information to users / audience with varying skill levels.Travelling to the field / site is required as necessary.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Willing to standby for technical support during off-hours or weekends.Be willing to guide and train L1 engineer. Act as L2 to support L1.Seniority level
