Executive - Contracts (Site QS)

Position Summary :

The Site Quantity Surveyor will assist the Project Manager in preparing and coordinating project cost estimations and interim payments. The role involves close collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure contractual and financial compliance, timely delivery of project estimates, and effective management of project claims.

Key Responsibilities :

Measurement / Taking Off

Prepare of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on construction drawings and technical specifications.

Cost Estimation :

Determine pricing rates for materials, labor, and equipment. Manage Payment & Claims.

Coordination :

• Verify actual site quantities against the original drawings / BQ
• Prepare and manage progress claims, final accounts, and Variation Orders (VOs) in case of scope changes.

ISO & Policy Compliance :

Ensure all activities adhere to ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 45001 : 2018, ISO 14001 : 2015 standards, and company policies. Maintain records for audits and oversee contractual aspects related to Environmental Management System (EMS).

Other Responsibilities :

Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support departmental objectives.

Qualifications & Experience :

Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil works.

Knowledge of water / wastewater industry construction costing is advantageous.

Strong understanding of cost estimation and construction contracts.

Familiarity with ISO standards and environmental policies.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.

Resourceful team player with a proactive attitude.
