Project Manager – Product Development & Artwork (FMCG)

Responsibilities

• Develop and Enhance project delivery capability of the MSB team through internal and / or external project management training and coaching.
• Manage the Artwork updates and transitions. Drive efficiencies and cost reduction within MSB artworks.
• Manage Projects on PD Integration, Strategic Partnerships, Divestment and Acquisitions across MSB.
• Lead the MSB LOC Team in use of project management tools, methodologies / techniques to generate faster and better innovations (e.g., facilitating Joint Planning Sessions, ensuring project lead teams have defined – STP / business case, Project Charters, Project Timelines, Key Issues / Risks / Actions / Decisions log, RACI template, etc).
• Set-up Project Management Board / Project Review Meetings and ensure these are held on a regular (monthly) basis; Facilitate / co-Chair these meetings with the General Manager and attended by functional heads.
• Manage projects tracking system to highlight status / progress of key projects across MSB and provide the leadership team with line-of-sight on the status / progress of those projects.
• Partner with the Area Project Manager and LOC Project Lead (Marketing / Commercial) to ensure that critical cross-functional meetings are conducted, including : 1) Kick-off meetings, 2) Joint Planning Sessions, and 3) regular cross-functional team meetings.
• Ensure project plans are defined by the lead / team and in place for the cross-functional working team (Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, Regulatory / Quality, R&D and GMS) covering project scope, objectives, strategy, resources requirements, structure, costs and schedule to ensure product development and launch.
• Ensure that the cross-functional team conducts team reviews on project stage / activities deliverables as per agreed timeline (artwork creation and approvals, regulatory requirements / submissions, myPSR entries).
• Drive issues / risk identification, resolution and escalation as part of the team meetings; ensure smooth transition between key decision points within the LOC Functions; define and resolve issues within remit and develop recommendations for issues outside remit for escalation to key stakeholders / functional heads.
• Ensure changes are clearly communicated and approved through the local Project Management Board / Project Review Meetings.
• Hold regular project status meetings with the project leads and cross-functional team.
• Assume a project management leadership role in teams on key / special priority projects identified by the General Manager, alongside the commercial / marketing, GMS / ES and other functional leads, providing confidence and competence to take on challenging objectives.
• Contribute to a climate for success in project teams : foster enthusiasm and teamwork, build relationships, reward and celebrate achievement.
• Drive compliance in documentation, alignment and processes across all projects.
