Responsibilities

Manage both direct and indirect sourcing and procurements.
Develop sourcing strategy for OSAT packages and tooling vendors.
Negotiate assembly and package pricing to improve cost roadmap.
Partner with engineers to drive cost down through value engineering.
Maintain a cost roadmap database modeling all company costs.
Work with product definition team to develop financial models for new products.
Support all administrative aspects of the sourcing function.
Organize and run quarterly business reviews with fabs and assembly suppliers.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in design and assembly of semiconductor packages.

Strong communication skills at the executive level.

Additional language skill in Mandarin is a plus.

Strong experience conducting business in Asia.

Strong analytical and outstanding negotiation skills.

Business savviness.

Education

BS or MS in materials science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering.

MBA, CPSM or other procurement certification or training is a plus.
