Purpose Statement : Responsible for identifying materials suitable for corporate contracts within assigned commodity scope. Responsible for developing and administering contracts which take full advantage of the total corporate volume and developing supply chain strategies to yield component contracts at the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Responsible for generating forecast and total purchase reports for management as required.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Develop, communicate, and execute the forward growth strategy for assigned commodities. Conduct industry research and have a high degree of business knowledge of the manufacturers, suppliers and market place.
• Establish performance objectives and associated metrics for the Commodities Group. Track the performance and report progress on a monthly or quarterly basis as directed.
• Support sites in the region when critical component escalations arise.
• Provide necessary guidance and support to the organization on the commodity strategy.
• Cultivate and maintain regional and global strategic supplier relationships with their executives for all major component types within assigned commodities.
