Logistics Executive

Overview

To coordinate, plan, and expedite daily truck booking for loading and unloading to and from customers, suppliers, inter-company, including urgent requests. Daily system update on truck confirmation and truck number registration in system and system release for loading. Manage multiple tasks and ensure that everything runs smoothly, including coordinating shipments, managing customer returns, and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities

Coordinate, plan, and expedite daily truck booking for loading and unloading to and from customers, suppliers, inter-company, including urgent requests. Update the system daily with truck confirmation and truck number registration, and release for loading. Manage multiple tasks to ensure smooth operations : coordinating shipments, managing customer returns, and ensuring timely deliveries. Follow up with external providers on ad hoc cases and report additional costs incurred to related parties for consent to proceed. Analyze data to identify root causes, implement prompt actions, and escalate when needed. Arrange trucks for return goods and return pallet collection. Review POD and follow up with transporter; resolve issues with transporter. Maintain effective communication with team members and external providers. Participate in Kaizen initiatives. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by superiors from time to time. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics Planning, or warehouse-related discipline. Minimum 2 years of Logistics Planning / Warehouse experience. Experience with ERP or Fleet Management is an advantage. Ability to efficiently allocate cognitive resources to accomplish tasks. Willing to work in Taiping, Perak. Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken, written, and reading) to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
