Sales & Marketing Executive

Melewar Steel Tube, a leading steel pipe and tube manufacturer in Malaysia with over 55 years of legacy, is looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive (Field Sales) to join our dynamic team. If you have the passion, energy, and hunger to grow - we want to meet you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct regular sales visits to the existing and potential customers to promote and sell our steel pipe and tube products.

Develop and grow sales in key market segments (construction, hardware, firefighting, air-conditioning, furniture, etc.).

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.

Liaise closely with the indoor sales team to ensure the timely processing of quotations, orders and deliveries.

Ensure timely delivery and movement of goods to avoid aging inventory.

Coordinate with the QAQC team to ensure customer product quality requirements are met.

Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.

Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team performance.

Follow-up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection from customers.

Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS

Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.

At least 2 years of experience in field sales (experience in industrial or building materials is a plus).

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel.

Possess own transport and a valid driving license.

Ability to speak Mandarin or Chinese dialects is an added advantage.
