We are representing a leading public-listed manufacturing group with operations across Malaysia and Southeast Asia, generating revenues exceeding RM2 billion annually. The Group is seeking an accomplished Human Resources Director to lead its HR agenda and drive organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all HR sub-functions, including Talent Acquisition, C&B, HR Operations, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, and Industrial Relations.
- Partner closely with the Group CEO, business unit heads, and site leaders across Southeast Asia to align HR strategies with business growth objectives.
- Review and strengthen the HR team structure (over 40 HR professionals across HQ and multiple locations) to enhance performance, stability, and collaboration.
- Drive initiatives in talent management, succession planning, and workforce development to support business expansion.
- Champion HR policies, compliance, and governance while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Spearhead digital HR transformation and continuous improvement in people processes.
Candidate Profile
15–25 years of proven HR leadership experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or other complex listed environments.Demonstrated expertise across all HR domains, with strong exposure to industrial relations, performance management, and strategic workforce planning.MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage, but not mandatory.Strong command of English, Malay, and Chinese.A leader who is authoritative yet collaborative—able to influence, enforce, and inspire.What They Offer
