Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Shopify Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing and customizing Shopify stores, building Shopify apps, and integrating third-party services. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing Shopify stores, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance. This role requires strong technical skills in Shopify's Liquid templating language, front-end development, and experience with Shopify APIs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Shopify Development : Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver visually appealing and high-performing e-commerce websites.
• App Development : Develop custom Shopify apps or extend existing apps to meet business needs using Shopify's APIs.
• API Integration : Integrate third-party services and APIs into Shopify, including payment gateways, CRM systems, and marketing tools.
• Store Customization : Customize existing Shopify stores to meet design, functionality, and performance requirements.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and fix issues with Shopify stores, themes, apps, and integrations.
• Optimization : Optimize Shopify stores for speed, scalability, and SEO to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Collaboration : Work closely with design, marketing, and sales teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintenance and Support : Provide ongoing support and updates to existing Shopify stores as needed.
• Security Compliance : Ensure that Shopify stores adhere to security best practices and Shopify guidelines.

Requirements :

o 2+ years of experience in Shopify development.

o Proven track record of delivering custom Shopify stores and apps.

o Strong knowledge of Liquid templating, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

o Experience with Shopify Plus (for more advanced stores) is a plus.

o Proficient in Shopify's ecosystem, including Liquid, Polaris, and Slate.

o Familiarity with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.

o Experience with version control (Git).

o Understanding of responsive design principles.

o Basic understanding of SEO and web performance optimization.
