Overview
We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Sales Engineer to develop and support sales opportunities within the construction and industrial materials sector. The role combines technical expertise with strong customer relationship management to deliver innovative and value-added solutions that meet client needs while achieving business growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development : Identify, develop, and manage new and existing customer accounts to achieve sales objectives; conduct market research to identify potential clients, new projects, and opportunities; prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals.
- Technical Support : Provide pre- and post-sales technical support; collaborate with R&D to address inquiries; conduct product demonstrations, training, and site visits.
- Account & Project Management : Manage key projects from inquiry to completion; negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery; monitor customer satisfaction and maintain relationships.
- Market & Competitor Intelligence : Track market trends and competitor activities; provide feedback for product development and marketing.
- Reporting & Coordination : Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records; collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related technical discipline.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical sales within construction chemicals, building materials, or industrial solutions.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.Strong technical aptitude; ability to translate product knowledge into customer solutions.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Customer-focused with a consultative sales approach.Self-motivated, results-driven, able to work independently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits.Seniorities
