The Manager - Agency Development will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing network of tied-agents to promote and represent our private equity products and services. This role involves recruiting top talent, designing and implementing comprehensive training programs, and fostering ongoing professional development to ensure agents meet performance standards and deliver exceptional client experiences. Reporting to the Head of Agency, the Manager will work closely with Agency Team to align agency strategies with organizational goals, driving growth and maintaining our reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding : Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber tied-agents with strong sales acumen and alignment with the company’s values. Screen, interview, and select candidates, ensuring they meet company-specific requirements. Oversee the onboarding process, including contract agreements, compliance training, and integration into the agency network. Training and Development : Design and deliver comprehensive training programs covering private equity products, sales techniques, client relationship management, and compliance requirements. Implement ongoing professional development initiatives to enhance agents’ skills, product knowledge, and performance. Conduct workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching sessions to support agent growth and address performance gaps. Performance Management : Set clear performance metrics and goals for tied-agents, monitoring progress through regular evaluations and feedback. Develop programs to motivate agents and reward top performers. Address underperformance through coaching, performance improvement plans, or termination processes when necessary. Collapse and eliminate repetitive or redundant passages to keep content concise and job-focused. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; master’s degree or MBA preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in agency development, sales management, or a related role within the financial services or private equity industry. Proven track record of recruiting, training, and managing high-performing sales teams or agents. Strong understanding of private equity products, financial markets, and regulatory requirements. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to design and deliver effective training programs tailored to diverse audiences.
