Job descriptionSupplier Management : Liaise with suppliers to negotiate the best deals, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.Purchase Order Management : Issue purchase orders (PO) and closely monitor stock movement to ensure timely arrival.Stock Quality Control : Inspect received stock for quality assurance, ensuring it meets company standards before acceptance.Stock Replenishment : Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.Price Setting : Ensure that the selling price setting is correct and reasonable.Promotions Planning : Plan and execute promotions with suppliers and Purchasing Head to drive sales and optimize inventory turnover.Stock Audits & Integrity : Conduct regular stock audits and stock takes to identify discrepancies and uphold inventory accuracy.Issue Resolution : Address stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or supplier-related issues efficiently to minimize operational disruptions and disposal.Collaboration : Work closely with receiving and selling floor teams to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency.Reporting & Documentation : Prepare reports on stock levels, supplier performance, and procurement activities for management review.Operational Support : Assist in general operational functions and handle ad-hoc assignments as required.Timely response to suppliers and colleagues : Able to attend request or questions from suppliers and colleagues
