Develop and implement maintenance guidelines, procedures, and best practices to ensure optimum equipment performance and reliability. Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and maintain equipment in top-notch condition. Coordinate with the operations team to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt regular operations. Identify opportunities for cost savings and improvement in maintenance practices and implement required changes accordingly. Monitor and supervise maintenance and repair activities to ensure that they are conducted in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and costs and provide regular reports to management. Maintain good relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance projects. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance activities and all employees are properly trained to handle maintenance equipment. Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical or any other relevant fields. SPM with experience in related fields is welcome to apply. At least 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience in food manufacturing. Basic knowledge of safety and health. Ability to work under minimum supervision. Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
