As a Sales Engineer, you will manage the sales of our HVAC business, acquire new customers, build relationships, understand customer needs, and offer solutions based on their requirements.
Responsibilities
- Generate and submit accurate quotations, forecast sales, collect on a regular basis, and report expenses in accordance with company policy.
- Coordinate with customers on secured projects to implement and execute scope of supply as per purchase order and generate billing / invoice accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers via regular calls and visits, and deliver formal presentations as required.
- Maintain existing customer base and develop new customers to expand business continuously.
- Gain effective understanding of York products, produce tailored quotations, and maintain constant field intelligence on competitors’ activities.
- Collaborate with sales / service administrator and finance to monitor collection, credit issues, and maintain good customer credit profile.
- Update customers on York product information and offers, establish credit facilities for new customers, and ensure timely payments.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to all customer inquiries.
- Maintain close relationships with dealers, consultants, end users, suppliers / vendors to support fast response and profitable sales.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
- Maintain high morale and team spirit within the team.
Qualifications
Minimum degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.At least 5 years of experience as Senior Sales in HVAC (chiller), pump, cooling tower, contractor, or medical devices (MRI / CT Scan).Experience selling to contractors, consultants, or company owners and handling projects.Knowledge of Building HVAC, Fire Protection, Controls preferred.Experience in the building industry preferred.Basic understanding of SAP operations advantageous.Personal qualities : ambitious, good understanding of projects, and strong relationship skills with contractors, consultants, or owners.Don’t miss this chance to uncover your potential and take the next step toward a fulfilling building solutions career with us.
