Legal and Compliance Manager

We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented, and proactive Legal & Compliance Manager to join our Compliance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm's regulatory and legal compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies within the trust and fiduciary services sector.

Job Description

• Implementation, monitoring, and enhancement of the company's Compliance Program.
• Conduct periodic reviews and risk assessments of client files in line with AML / CFT regulations and internal policies.
• Ensure due diligence and ongoing monitoring requirements are met, particularly for high-risk and complex trust structures.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assist in updating policies, procedures, and controls accordingly.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and remediation projects.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, including AML, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and manage compliance registers, such as breach logs, complaints, and conflicts of interest.
• Liaise with legal advisors and regulatory bodies, and assist in regulatory reporting as required.
