About the role
As a Sales Manager at Swiss‑Garden International Hotels, Resorts & Inns, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue for our premier hospitality brand. This full‑time position is based in the vibrant Kuala Lumpur City Centre, where you will devise and implement effective sales strategies to expand our customer base and market share.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel agencies, and corporate clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and secure contracts through effective negotiations.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover new growth avenues.
- Provide regular sales reports and performance analysis to the management team.
- Mentor and coach the sales team to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns that drive sales.
- Achieve sales targets allocated by the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Cover the market effectively according to territory and customer type allocations, including corporate clients, clubs and associations, government, semi‑government, embassies, etc.
- Conduct a minimum of six personal sales calls to companies each day and make at least five telephone calls to clients daily, before and after fieldwork.
- Build strong rapport with key accounts and provide efficient service to maintain business support.
- Keep track of information likely to affect target markets and new business opportunities.
- Ensure sales reports requested by the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing are properly prepared and submitted on time.
- Prepare and send quotations for customer enquiries promptly, and follow up to close the sale.
- Assist the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing with any sales and marketing work as requested, handling delegated tasks independently and efficiently until completion.
What we’re looking for
Diploma in Marketing or related field.Minimum 4 years of working experience in sales and telemarketing within the hotel industry.Proven track record of achievement in sales.Dynamic, dedicated, independent and a team player.Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.Possession of a valid driving license and own transport.Proficiency in Mandarin language is an added advantage.What we offer
