Overview
Handle end-to-end payroll processing including attendance verification, salary computation, and monthly payment for local employees. Maintain employee data and payroll records in the HR system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate with the China HR team on expatriate employees’ attendance data and related payroll reporting. Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor, tax, and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB). Liaise with relevant authorities or service providers regarding payroll-related matters when required. Prepare monthly payroll reports, reconciliations, and statutory submissions on time. Support annual payroll audit, tax filing, and issuance of EA forms. Provide support and clarification to employees on payroll-related inquiries. Continuously review and improve payroll processes and HR system efficiency. Perform other HR or payroll-related tasks as assigned by the HR Manager. Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing in Malaysia. Solid understanding of Malaysian payroll regulations, statutory deductions, and HRIS systems. Experience in a manufacturing or multinational environment is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy in data handling. Good communication and coordination skills, able to liaise with both local and overseas teams.
